Strengths
- 7,200W continuous / 14,400W surge with 120V/240V NEMA L14-30R and 14-50 outlets
- Takes up to 5 Battery Pack 5000 Plus units (5,040Wh each)
- High-PV (135-450V) and dual Low-PV (16-60V) solar inputs, up to 4,000W per Jackery
- 0 ms online UPS mode on the NEMA 5-20 outlets (3,600W max)
Watch out for
- About 134.5 lb, so it is a stationary unit rather than a portable one
- Default backup UPS mode switches in 20 ms; 0 ms online mode must be enabled and limits output to 3,600W
- Cycle life is rated 4,000 cycles to 70%, not 80%
- Portable panels use the two 8mm low-PV ports (16-60V, 1,200W max); the MC4 high-PV input needs 135-450V strings

Runtime = usable energy ÷ average draw. We count 85% of the rated 5,040 Wh as usable (4,284 Wh) to cover inverter and DC conversion losses. Fridges and freezers are averaged over their compressor cycle. An appliance runs only if its running watts fit the 7,200 W inverter and its start-up surge fits the 14,400 W surge rating. Wattages come from our appliance wattage table; try your own mix in the runtime calculator.
Which solar panels fit it?
- Solar input up to 4,000 W
- Voltage window 16–60 V
- Connector 8mm DC
Recharge time is from empty with one panel in full sun: 5,040 Wh ÷ the lower of75% of the panel's rating or the station's solar input limit. A panel rated above the input limit is safe as long as its Voc fits, because the station only draws what it can take. MC4 panels need a standard MC4 adapter cable, which many stations include. Wiring two panels in series doubles the Voc, so check the total against the voltage window. Try any pairing in the solar panel matcher.
4 panels that don't fit
- EcoFlow 125W Bifacial Modular Solar Panel: its XT60 plug doesn't fit the 8mm DC solar port
- Goal Zero Nomad 400: its brand-specific plug doesn't fit the 8mm DC solar port
- Goal Zero Nomad 200: its brand-specific plug doesn't fit the 8mm DC solar port
- Goal Zero Boulder 200 Briefcase: its brand-specific plug doesn't fit the 8mm DC solar port
